After two postseason wins, Turkey Valley girls are out

Lead Summary

In the first round of regional action, Turkey Valley cruised to a 13-0 win over West Central and they upended Kee High in the second round 8-2. But Clarksville's third-ranked Indians would eliminate the TV girls from the tourney by a 4-0 score Friday night.
"Our girls have nothing to hang their heads about," coach Junior Hackman said after the Turkey Valley loss. "We knew our biggest challenge tonight would be scoring against their pitcher. She was all-state the last two years and she's fast. It's hard to simulate that in practice."

Turkey Valley finishes the season with a 17-15 record, with three seniors — Kim Fischer, Shayla Kuennen and Makayla Farrell — suiting up for a final time.
