Board of Health considers ‘doubling up’ on HR services

Lead Summary

Chickasaw County’s Public Health Director wants more help with “human resources issues,” but the Chickasaw County Public Health Board appeared to be lukewarm to the idea during a meeting Monday morning.
Kathy Babcock asked board members to approve hiring the county’s former human resources director, Paul Greufe, on an as-needed basis, for $75 per hour and for mileage incurred while working for the Public Health Department.
Greufe’s company, PJ Greufe and Associates, served as the county’s human resources consultant from 2013 until this past June, when Ahlers and Conney attorney Michael Galloway took over the HR duties for $1,250 per month plus mileage when he needs to travel to New Hampton.
