Booster Club making a pitch for members

Lead Summary

The Chickasaw Athletic Booster Club is seeking new members as it gears up for the 2019-20 school year.
“We’re really making a pitch to all parents who have kids in sports grades 7-12,” said Jodi Njus, who is beginning her second year as the club’s president. “Our membership is in a way one of our biggest fundraisers, and we just want to remind people membership and some volunteering goes a long way to supporting our sports programs and, most importantly, our kids.”
Njus made her pitch last week because for members to have their names in the fall sports program, they must join by Friday, Aug. 2, because this year’s program, which includes art work by New Hampton High School student Angel Antonio, is going to the printer early.
