Chickasaw boys put up a slew of season-bests

Lead Summary

Scott Frerichs was asked what he liked about his New Hampton boys track team’s performance at the Osage Invitational on Tuesday, and the veteran coach had a quick answer.
“We had a beautiful night to run and our guys took advantage of it,” he said. “We had a lot of PRs, and this is the time of the season you have to see that. Overall, we saw a lot of good things.”
They didn’t necessarily show up in the team scores, as New Hampton finished seventh in the eight-team meet with 47 points, but Frerichs was happy nonetheless.
