Chickasaw boys show versatility

Lead Summary

New Hampton may not have a lot of depth when it comes to boys track, but the Chickasaws certainly have some versatile athletes.  Junior Alex Schumacher was the latest Chickasaw to show off his versatility as he ran a solid leg on the 4x800 relay, led off New Hampton’s winning distance medley relay and then ran a career-best 1,600 Tuesday night at the Comet Relays.  “Alex had a really nice meet for us,” New Hampton coach Scott Frerichs said after his team finished fifth in the meet’s Orange Division.  The rest of the story may be found in the April 21 Tribune.
