Chickasaw girls set new school golf records

Lead Summary

Two new school records were set by New Hampton’s girls golf team while they were defeating Waverly-Shell Rock Monday afternoon.    Winning over the Go-Hawks by 86 strokes, the Chickasaws set a new 18-hole record with a score of 341, beating the record of 367 set in 2015 by 26 strokes.    The individual 18-hole record, previously owned by Victoria Speltz and also from 2015, was slashed by six strokes as freshman Allison Nuss recorded a 76.    More on the Chickasaw win may be found in the April 21 Tribune.
