Chickasaw girls stay unbeaten on the course

Lead Summary

The No. 1 ranked team in Class 2A kept it rolling on Friday and Monday, as the New Hampton girls golf team won two duals handily. The Chickasaws beat Waukon 180-226 and defeated Crestwood 176-206.
“We had two solid wins against conference opponents. Waukon was a good test because of the length of the course and playing different greens,” New Hampton girls’ golf coach Eric Olson said. “Crestwood was switched to a home meet, and we played pretty well except for a couple of holes here and there.”
Twins Allison and Morgan Nuss were medalists at Waukon, as they each finished with 43 strokes. Emma Ewert was just behind them with a 44.
