Chickasaw girls win back-to-back meets

Lead Summary

In just their second meet of the season on Monday, the New Hampton girls golf team almost broke the school record for the best team score of 166. Although they fell four strokes short with a 170, the Chickasaws still managed to blowout the competition, beating second place Clear Lake by over 30 strokes.
“The course and weather were very favorable to us, and we took advantage of that!” New Hampton girls head golf Coach Eric Olson said.
Just one day after this performance, the Chickasaws made the trip to Denver, where they beat the Cyclones 183-244. Although they played worse as a team, sophomore Lola Lemke set a new personal record with 49 total strokes.
