Chickasaw girls win NEIC, again

Lead Summary

Not only did New Hampton’s girls win the Northeast Iowa Conference title Monday — for the fifth straight year — but the 328 posted by the Chickasaw girls set a new school record and a new conference record. The fifth straight championship ties the longest winning streak in NEIC history.
Allison Nuss also has a string going as she was the repeat champion with her top score of 74, three strokes better than her win at Crestwood a year ago. Five of the Chickasaw girls earned all-conference honors.
“It never gets old,” coach Eric Olson said of the fifth title. “And it never will.”
