Chickasaw JV girls pick up first conference wins

Back-to-back games for the JV softball girls found the team a little flat on day two. But they had plenty of energy in the game that counted toward conference standings as they defeated Waverly 17-2.
The Chickasaws scored the maximum number of runs in three of the four innings against the Go-Hawks.
“Nice offensive effort with nine hits,” coach Jeff Eichenberger said. “Our team played solid defense with no errors, for our first conference game and conference win.”
