Chickasaws end regular season with solid victory

Lead Summary

New Hampton senior Sydney Laures will be the first to admit that she was feeling a bit disheartened at the beginning of the season.
“At the start of the season, I just couldn’t get my bat going,” she said after the Chickasaws concluded a standout regular season with a 9-4 win over South Winneshiek Friday.
“I was really getting frustrated. But my coaches, my teammates and everyone had my back.”
