Chickasaws, Trojans shine on the range

Lead Summary

With it 70 degrees, sunny, and no wind on Tuesday, the New Hampton and Turkey Valley trapshooting teams posted some of their best scores of the season at the Turkey Valley Trap Range, as they squared off against one another.
The Chickasaws dominated the meet, as they possessed the top five squads, the top three boys, and two of the top three girls.
“We shot amazing. It was our first time shooting at Turkey Valley. They’ve put a lot of work in on their range, and it looks really nice,” New Hampton assistant trapshooting coach Gayle Poncelet said. “We can’t get any better scores than last night. We had lots of 200-plus scores. That’s amazing. We have such a strong and deep team.”
