Despite end, N-P coach sees positives

The result was predictable last Friday night when Nashua-Plainfield played its last football game of the season.  Yes, Nashua-Plainfield lost big time — 63-0, to be exact — to West Hancock to finish  the season 3-6 overall and 2-5 in Class A, District 3.  But when he considered all his team had been through in 2016, Nashua-Plainfield coach Chase Sudol found plenty of positives.  “I don’t like losing, and I sure don’t like losing 63-0,” Sudol said. “Neither do the kids, but we have to look at the bright side. We tripled our number of wins [from last year] and we did it in one of the strangest seasons I’ve ever seen.”  He’s got that right.  For the full story, please see the Oct. 27 Reporter.
