Dive to New Depths…. Iowa 4-H Youth Leadership Conference

Lead Summary

Over 850 youth from across the state convened on Iowa State University campus for the 2016 Iowa 4-H Youth “Dive to New Depths” Conference and Animal Science Round-Up.  The conference provides a place for youth to learn about themselves, explore campus life, learn new ways to handle stress and how to be a successful leader.  This year’s participants were involved in many activities including workshops, motivational speakers, community service projects, dances, and many other fun activities.  This annual conference is a great opportunity for 4-H’ers and youth to meet others from across the state as they discover their own interests.  Animal Science Round-Up participants participated in workshops with beef, dairy, sheep, horse, and swine as well as many of the activities with conference.
