Golfers looking for confidence

Lead Summary

It hasn’t exactly gone as planned for the Nashua-Plainfield golf teams so far this season, but then again, youth plus inexperience often equals inconsistency.  But the Huskies, especially on the girls side, showed some signs of life this past week.  The girls finished second in all three meets — a quadrangular at Tripoli on Tuesday and triangulars at Sheffield and St. Ansgar on Thursday and Monday, respectively.  And on Monday, junior Nicole Harrington fired a career-best 50 to win medalist honors while at Sheffield, Megan Cerwinske tied for runner-up honors with a 53.  The rest of the story may be found in the April 21 Reporter.
