‘Happy Days’ indeed

Lead Summary

Plainfield Days were definitely “Happy Days” this last weekend for all who attended the annual event.
The four-day celebration began Thursday as Plainfield Veterinary Service staff thanked the Plainfield community for its 40 years of patronage.
Drs. Alan Van Arkel, Randy Groth, Dane DeBower and Jeremy Carpenter and staff celebrated with food prepared by the Bremer County Cattlemen and Tangled Root Catering.
The Plainfield Days royalty were introduced and announced while the crowd enjoyed their meal. The crowd was introduced to the Miss Plainfield Queen candidates Kaylynrae Woodman and Sydney Hansen.
Many were excited to see the crowning of Little Mr. Plainfield Peyten Iriarte and Little Miss Plainfield Breann Shadow. The prize package for the two children included a new bike.
