Lead Summary

Nashua-Plainfield’s golf teams are definitely heading in the right direction, but the Huskies still have a major question hanging over them.  Can their games travel?  Nashua-Plainfield’s girls are on a three-meet winning streak — shooting a 211 to win a triangular last Thursday, a 217 to win another triangular on Friday and then firing a 213 to win a quadrangular on Monday.  Meanwhile, the boys won their first meet of the year in a triangular on Thursday before firing a season-best 194 in a third-place finish at a Monday quadrangular.  “It’s exciting, but I temper it a little bit with the fact all the meets were at home,” he said. “We really needed a stretch of home meets,  but now the question is can we take that course management and that confidence on the road?”  Still, Trost isn’t going to argue with the Huskies’ recent play.  For the full story, please see the April 27 Reporter.
