Hurdler gets breakout win

Lead Summary

Evan Gossling admitted that the frustration was building; after all, the Chickasaw had put together a breakout junior track season and put the work into the offseason before his senior year.
For some reason though, he just couldn’t break through in his favorite race, the 400 low hurdles.
Then came Thursday’s Northeast Iowa Conference meet, where Gossling finally got a signature win and a time he could live with, as he completed the race in 58.25 seconds to become the Chickasaws’ second NEIC champion of the day.
