Huskies girls continue to bring down times on track

Lead Summary

Up and down the lineup Monday night, the Nashua-Plainfield girls track team ran season-best times.  And although coach Kristi Hannemann will be the first to admit that she’s always looking for faster times, she was more than satisfied with her athletes’ performances as Nashua-Plainfield finished a strong third at the Sumner-Fredericksburg Coed.  “They may not quite be the times I am looking for,” she said, “but we are continuing to improve.  This is all I can ask for.  If we continue to improve slightly every meet between now and districts, we will hit districts right where I want to be.”  The Huskies got wins from Jayne Levi in the 3,000 and from its 4x800 team of Kylie Laube, Kaylee Eick, Kaylee Cerwinske and Emma Sinnwell, but more impressive was the list of runners who put together season-best times.
