Halloween comes to town

Lead Summary

Candy, games, treats and nice weather made for a great Trunk or Treat time for the children. Nashua’s Women of Today held their 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat on Main Street on Sunday afternoon with a great turnout.Children and pets came with their parents to have a fun and safe time tricking or treating before the big Halloween night. Anything from witches to a strawberry could be found walking around seeing all the different trunks which were decorated and to receive their treat. Many parents like the Trunk or Treat event on Main Street since it is a safe way for their children to go tricking or treating without them worrying about their safety. There were 27 vehicles lined up along the two blocks which were all decorated for the Most Creative Trunk contest. There were four adult entries for the Best Pumpkin Carving contest. In the end there was only a 1st place trophy for each contest, which the winners will bring back next year. For the complete story see the 11/3/2016 Nashua Reporter.
