Long layoff makes for a tough golf round for the Turkey Valley girls

Turkey Valley faced stiff competition on Tuesday evening, as they faced Class 2A Crestwood in a meet at Jackson Heights Golf Course.
The Cadets outdueled the Trojans 198-241, and Turkey Valley golf coach John Reicks thought a long layoff may have been part of the reason for his team’s defeat.
“It was a nice night for golf,” he said. “We were a little rusty after the rain-out on Monday.”
