N-P boys are on the right track

Lead Summary

The places aren’t always what the Nashua-Plainfield boys track team wants, but ask its coach, and he’ll tell you that the grit and determination are there.  “I love the way our kids compete,” coach Chase Sudol said, “and I know a lot of them want to place higher, but the effort they’re giving, that’s what matters. We’re young, and I keep telling my guys if we stick together, keep working, the future is really bright.”  Not that the present is all that cloudy.  The Huskies ran to a strong fourth-place finish at the Nashua-Plainfield Coed last Tuesday and then followed that up with a solid showing at the New Hampton Coed two nights later.  Nashua-Plainfield picked up a couple wins at home as Dayton Hansen won the 1,600 and then anchored the distance medley team that included Levi Enright, Nathan Dettmer and Austin Lines to a win.  For all of the N-P results, please see the April 20 Reporter.
