Keaton Geerts scored three touchdowns and Josh Fenske added two as New Hampton rebounded in a big way Friday night with a 50-14 victory over Osage.The win improved the Chickasaws to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in Class 2A, District 2 and came a week after New Hampton fell to Crestwood 21-20.Geerts gave the Chickasaws a lead they would never relinquish when he scored 1-yard run with less than five minutes into the game.A Carter Stochl-to-Ryan Gorman 15-yard touchdown pass pushed the lead to 14-0 with 2:30 remaining in the first quarter.New Hampton extended the lead to 21-0 on a Geerts 2-yard line and Fenske scored on a 1-yard run midway through the second quarter to push the advantage to 28-0.After Osage got on the board, New Hampton answered right back with a Geerts 9-yard scoring run and Carter Stochl 2-point run to give it a 36-6 lead heading into halftime.The Chickasaws built the lead to 50-6 on a Boeding 1-yard run and a Fenske 3-yard run in the second half.New Hampton will hit the road again next Friday when it travels to Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, which fell to 3-2 in district play with a 33-22 loss at Crestwood.
