New Hampton XC times continue to improve in lone competition last week

Lead Summary

Although they didn’t finish near the top of the boys or girls team standings at the Jesup Invitational on Thursday, many individuals on the New Hampton cross country team posted some of their better times of the year.
“We were excited to have an opportunity to better our times and get in another race in preparation for conference and districts,” coach Kristy Manson said. “Our times were great; it’s a fast course because it’s fairly flat. We need to keep pushing our pace and taking risks to better our places. We need to have a very competitive attitude the rest of the season.”
The Chickasaw girls totaled 352 points to take home 12th place of the 16 teams who fielded full teams.
