Mrs. Alice “Allie” Marie Beck dies at 86

Mrs. Alice “Allie” Marie Beck, age 86, of John Knox Village Community passed away on Nov. 19, 2017 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born on Sept. 22, 1931 in New Hampton, a daughter of the late Frank and Chrissie (Kobriger) Zweibohmer.  Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” George Beck on Oct. 22, 2001.  The Beck family were long standing members of St. Coleman Catholic Church before joining St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where Allie was an active member until her sickness. 
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Chrisie and Steve Rochow of Rochester, Michigan and Brad and Anna Beck, of Franklin, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Austin and Madison Rochow and Carson and Avery Beck; sister, Betty Njus; several nieces and nephews also survive. 
A memorial mass to celebrate Allie’s life will be held on Dec. 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Inurnment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery where she will forever rest next to her late husband.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Allie’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association Southeast Florida at 3323 W Commercial Blvd, Suite 260, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
