Kam’s brothers and sister held a special place in his heart. After making it through difficulties of his own, Kam turned his heartfelt compassion to helping others who were also struggling. He started a support group at the University of Northern Iowa for college students who were dealing with issues such as addiction. Kam also worked with young adults at the North Iowa Juvenile Detention Center who found themselves in similar situations. That is who Kam was, a helping hand to anybody who needed it. Along with helping other people, Kam enjoyed building different items out of wood, hunting, helping his dad on the farm and especially riding his Harley.
