Phyllis A. Stufflebeam, age 88 of Hudson and formerly of New Hampton, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Phyllis Ann was born on April 10, 1932, to Cecil and Gladys (Harris) Morris in Tripoli.
She attended school in Tripoli.
Phyllis was united in marriage to Leslie Stufflebeam in 1949 in Waverly. The couple lived in Waverly, Waterloo and Sumner. They were married for 25 years before being divorced.
After the divorce, Phyllis lived in New Hampton where she worked as a cook for the Truck Stop and Tom’s Restaurant. Later she moved to Hudson, where she has lived to the present time.

Phyllis enjoyed cooking which has been her life.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Terry (Carolee) Stufflebeam of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Tamie (Leslie) Rahlf of Stoddard, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michael (Jill) Stufflebeam, Wendy Bertram Stufflebeam, Bradley (Stephanie) Rahlf, Chad Rahlf and Holly (Ron) White; nine great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; and sister Kathy Hunemuller of Sumner.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Gladys Morris; son, Timothy; and siblings, Marjorie Kuker, Duane Morris and Eugene Ginther.
