Pretty good ’16

Lead Summary

While Turkey Valley's boys haven't enjoyed the same attention in the past couple of years that the girls have, they're inching their way into some of the top statistical categories that go along with a successful season.  And with their 60-43 win over South Winn Thursday, the Trojans finished the 2016 portion of their season with a 7-3 record.  Turkey Valley has had some success during their 10 games with the 3-point shot. With 56 long shots made this season, they are tied for ninth place in Class 1A.  But with 2-point baskets added in, they fare even better. They've made 210 goals overall, which has them seventh in their class.  They used both Thursday.  The rest of the story may be found in the Dec. 27 Tribune.
