Randy J. Rings, age 51 of New Hampton, passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at his home in New Hampton.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton with Father Brian Dellaert celebrating. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in New Hampton.Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton with a 7 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the funeral mass on Monday. Online condolences for Randy’s family may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com. Memorials may be directed to the family. Randy Joseph Rings was born on Aug. 25, 1965 to Roger and Mary Jo (Douglas) Rings in New Hampton. He attended New Hampton High School. After completing his education he began working for Tank Masonry and later Precision of New Hampton. Randy enjoyed camping, kayaking, snowmobiling and hunting. He had a passion for working on cars. Randy also loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for being there to lend a helping hand. Randy is survived by his children, Joseph “JJ” (Sara Schwickerath) Jerdee of New Hampton, Lindsey (Travis Kuennen) Jerdee of Viroqua, Wisc. and Anissa (Evan) Gibbs of Des Moines; his siblings, David (Kathy) Rings of Woodward, Elinor (Brett) Brass of Charles City, Sandy (Randy) Tindell of New Hampton and Jeff (Mary Jo) Rings of New Hampton; his nieces and nephews, Justin (Rachel), Nicole, Michelle, Stephanie, Dillon, Adrian, Alexis, Gavin and Kinslee and numerous extended family members.He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Mary Jo Rings and grandparents.
