Sara Quigley, 41 of Kirksville passed away Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 at her home.The daughter of David Lewis and Norma Jean (Foxen) Crandall, she was born Feb. 26, 1975 in Charles City. On Sept. 26, 1998 in Tripoli, at Faith United Church she was united in marriage to Justin Quigley.Sara is survived by her husband, Justin; her children, Bailey and Jordan Quigley; her parents, Dave and Jean Crandall of Ionia; two brothers, Andy Crandall of Des Moines, and Eric Crandall of Waterloo; one sister, Kathy Girkin and husband Scott of Ionia; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Ruth Quigley of Tripoli; and nieces and nephews, Ben and Rachel Crandall, Nathan and Clair Girkin.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Matt and Agnes Foxen and Ralph and Wilma Crandall.Sara graduated from Nashua-Plainfield High School in Plainfield, in 1993. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. She continued her education and received her Master’s degree in Education from William Wood University. She taught in the Kirksville School District for the last 9 years.She loved spending time with her kids and playing board games. Her favorite saying became Live, Laugh and Love. All of which she did to the best of her ability. So please Live, Laugh and Love.  A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 18, 2017 at the Kirksville Primary School.A second memorial service will be held in her home town on Saturday Feb. 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Middle School in Fredericksburg.In Lieu of flowers donations are suggested to a scholarship in Sara’s name, made out to the Kirksville R-III (note for Sara Quigley Scholorship).Arrangements under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
