Setting the bar low!

Lead Summary

After tying the nine-hole team score school record of 166 two weeks ago, this year’s New Hampton girls’ golf team can finally call it all its own after shattering the mark with a 161 on Thursday evening at New Hampton Golf and Country Club.
The topped-ranked Chickasaws handily defeated Oelwein, who totaled 302 strokes.
“I felt like the record was going to be broken this year,” New Hampton girls’ head golf coach Eric Olsen said. “The girls are excited every time a record gets broken, and they are proud they were able to accomplish it!”
