Shooters take advantage of great weather

Lead Summary

With temperatures in the 60s, no wind, and sunny, the New Hampton trapshooting team couldn’t have asked for better weather on Saturday during their meet at Saint Ansgar.
This showed in the results, as New Hampton Red posted the best score for a squad this spring, hitting 238 of the 250 targets.
“It was a really fun day. The weather was beautiful, and we shot really well,” Chickasaw assistant trapshooting coach Gayle Poncelet said. “It was a nice, relaxing day to be able to hang out with the kids and joke around.”
