Residents asked questions at Monday evening’s City Council meeting about a range of different topics.Splash Pad Committee members discussed a few changes the committee agreed on and wanted to have the council approve before continuing the project.The committee agreed to add two more water features which will cost $6,400 more. Shelly Johnson reported the committee has raised “just under $80,000 and aims for a couple of thousand from the fundraiser this weekend.”She also asked the council if the city was still behind the project and planning on funding the water and sewer needed for the project.The council approved the additional water features, but if any other additions would be added to the project they asked for the committee to have them approved first.— For more on this story, see the April 4 Nashua Reporter.
