State Bank’s New Hampton “Cookin’ for a Cause”

State Bank’s New Hampton office held a “Cookin’ for a Cause” event on Friday, July 22nd to support the New Hampton TRIBE Trail.  Bank staff served burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream bars to approximately 250 people raising $1,570, plus the Bank’s match for a total contribution of $2,070 toward the New Hampton TRIBE Trail.“On behalf of the New Hampton TRIBE Trail, we would like to thank State Bank [and the employees] for choosing us for their Cookin’ for a Cause event. It was a great success!We would also like to thank everyone in the community and surrounding area for supporting us,” said Rick Kramer, New Hampton Parks and Recreation Director. “We plan to use the funds raised from this event for preliminary trail costs,” added Kramer.To date, the total amount contributed as a result from State Bank’s “Cookin’ for a Cause” (CFAC) event series is over $33,000 to eighteen local charities across each of the markets served by the bank.  Along with the New Hampton TRIBE Trail, State Bank’s CFAC events have helped to raise funds for the Chickasaw Veterans Memorial.“Here at State Bank we’re built on a foundation of giving back to the communities that have helped us achieve success,” said Grant Anderson, Executive Vice President at State Bank. “But we know this event series has been a community effort and we truly appreciate the generosity we see from local supporters!  We’re proud to support such a worthy cause this year, the New Hampton TRIBE Trail.”Along with State Bank’s recent “Cookin’ for a Cause” event in New Hampton, they also will hold events in Calmar, Dike, Janesville, and Waverly throughout the summer.
