Tracy L. (Nee Carpenter) Klemp, age 48, died Dec. 16, 2016.A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Rev. Dave Byrd presiding.Friends may greet the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at the funeral home.  Online condolences for Tracy's family may be left at hugebackfuneralhome.comTracy Lynn was born Jan. 24, 1968 in New Hampton to Harry and Kathy Carpenter. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1985. She was employed at the White House Restaurant and also worked for Kevin Bea for many years. She started dating Rick Klemp and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Together they attended ABATE events, poker runs and parties with friends.In 1994 Rick and Tracy moved out to Heartland, Wisconsin where they along with Tracy's Mother, Kathy bought a house with a huge yard. They always kept in touch with their friends and family and spent many a weekend back here in Fredericksburg. They even returned home to the Burg to get married on September 5, 1998. From this union came two sons, first Zach and then Layne. Tracy became a devoted Mother and Housewife until the boys started school. She then became employed at the Lake Country School where the boys were attending. As the boys were getting older Tracy became employed at The Picnic Basket Diner as a waitress and later became a manager. She worked here for several years.Tracy loved meeting new people and made new friends wherever she went. She was gifted with a magnetic personality, full of bubbly energy, and very generous with her beautiful smile. She always had a genuine interest in her friends and her talent for problem solving always included a humorous side to them. A few years ago Tracy began her battle with cancer. She revealed to us so much courage, and determination and strength and still made time for each and everyone of her family and friends.Tracy is survived by her husband Rick, her son Zach and his wife Becky, son, Layne, and her mother, Kathy Carpenter. Her brother, Gary and wife Nicole, and family.Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Harry Carpenter
