Trojan boys take strong fourth at UIC track meet

The Turkey Valley boys’ track team had a strong outing at the Upper Iowa Conference track meet, as they finished in the top half of the standings. 
The Trojans’ 80 team points were good enough for fourth out of the nine schools who competed.
The best two placings on the evening both came by way of relays.
Clocking in at 8:38.25, the 4x800 was the lone victory the Trojans claimed. The quartet of Seth Huinker, Kalvin Langreck, Eli Nymeyer, and Elliott Dietzenbach just edged out North Fayette Valley by less than two seconds for the win. This time by Turkey Valley was the best on the spring for them, and it currently ranks 13th in Class 1A.
