Trojan girls to play final UIC game tonite

Lead Summary

Should Turkey Valley get past Riceville in the first round of regional action, they could again meet Tripoli, a team they defeated Monday night by a close 58-51 score.
The Panthers were 7-12 when the Lady Trojans came into their gym, and with the win, the TV girls went to 12-8.
Turkey Valley led 17-13 after a quarter and pushed that margin to seven midway through the second period before the Panthers came back to tie the score at 32 by halftime.
Tonight’s [Friday] home match-up pits the TV girls against Lansing Kee, a team that defeated the Trojans by just two points earlier in the season.
Kee is still undefeated in the conference at 11-0, while MFL is 10-2 and Turkey Valley stands at 8-3.
That’s the final regular season game, as Turkey Valley hosts Riceville in the first round of regionals next Thursday at 7 p.m.
