Trojans hand Kee its first UIC defeat

Lead Summary

After losing a 4-1 contest at Kee High Friday, Turkey Valley's boys snapped an 11-game winning streak by the Kee Hawks when they bounced back in game two, soundly whipping their guests 10-0 and handing them their first conference loss of the season.    Kee High was defeated twice by Decorah to start the season, split with Waterloo West and then won 13 of their next 14 games before running into the Trojans.    Both the Trojans and Kee Hawks would finish with five hits in game one, but a two-run homer by Kee's Casey Carroll, the team's .529 senior, started the Kee Hawks off with a 2-0 lead, Carroll would also double and score in the third.    Evan Drilling was able to get on base his first three at-bats as he was hit by a pitch, doubled and singled, but only after the double — when he advanced to third on a Cale Reicks single and came home on a sacrifice fly by Cody Hackman — was he able to score.
