Trojans take home fifth at Nashua Invitational

It wasn’t the night Turkey Valley boys track coach Mark Scott was hoping for, but he’s not panicking, either, after his team finished fifth at the Nashua-Plainfield Coed Invitational on Tuesday night.
Central Springs dominated the meet with 179 points, 80 more than runner-up Nashua-Plainfield recorded. Turkey Valley, which got second place finishes from Elliot Dietzenbach in the 800 and Kalvin Langreck in the high jump, garnered 57 points.
“The weather was cooler then expected,” Scott said. “We performed OK but it was not our best night. We will get better as the season progresses.”
