Turkey Valley boys have 25 athletes on this year’s roster

Lead Summary

With no seniors on the roster last year, Turkey Valley’s boys track team didn’t lose any talent to graduation, but they do have a ton of it coming back.    In his 19th season, coach Mark Scott will be able to work with 16 returning lettermen, including a pair of senior state qualifiers.    It wasn’t just a coincidence that both Wyatt Blazek and Cody Hackman ran in the same four events at the state qualifying meet last year, and that those four events were the races that made the cut for the state meet. Both three-year lettermen, the pair led the Trojans to a tenth-place finish in the 4x200-meter relay with Cale Reicks and Will Einwalter and the same quartet was 16th in the 4x100. Hackman and Blazek each qualified in the 100- and 200-meter dashes as well. For the rest of the story, please see the March 28 Tribune.
