Turkey Valley boys take second in gray division at Charles City

Lead Summary

Among the eight teams in the "gray" division, Turkey Valley's boys took second in a meet held at Charles City Tuesday. There was also a group of larger schools at the meet as another seven teams competed in the "orange" division.    Turkey Valley trailed only St. Ansgar in the gray standings, 170 to 111.25, well ahead of third-place Tripoli with 83.25 points. Wyatt Blazek scored 24.5 of Turkey Valley's points as he won the 100- and 200-meter dashes — both with season-best times — and led off the winning 4x100 relay and the second-place 4x200.  The rest of the story may be found in the April 21 Tribune.
