Turkey Valley makes spirited regional run

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley’s Kim Fischer only pitched three innings in the Trojans’ regional opener last Monday, as it only took 2 1/2 innings for the TV girls to win over West Central, 13-0.
“I really like playing the game, but I’m fine with getting it over with, as long as we get the win,” said the Turkey Valley senior.
After that win, Fischer was looking forward to a rematch against Kee High.
“We can hit off her,” she said of the Kee starting pitcher, Heather Mooney. “We had an off day when we played them before, but we were close.”
