Turning over a victory

Lead Summary

Turnovers can win and lose fooball games, and fortunately for New Hampton, they were able to take advantage of multiple Crestwood fumbles throughout the evening to defeat the Cadets in a tight battle 13-7.
“The mindset that we had coming into the game was we were all mentally ready for battle,” junior Landon Moorman said. “We knew we were going to play good Chickasaw football, but it wasn’t going to be easy by any means.”
Both teams were able to march the football into each other’s territory in the first quarter, but neither were able to put any points on the board, as it was deadlocked at zero going into the second quarter.
