TV girls tack on two more wins

With the type of halftime leads Turkey Valley's girls have had so far this season, the coaching staff can afford to experiment a bit. In their first three wins, they've led at the half by an average of just over 29 points.    Those successes included a win over Central Friday and a 49-19 victory over Decorah Saturday.    The Friday 57-38 win over Central was the more important weekend win — as a conference clash — but holding a team the size of Decorah to only 19 points for the entire game also had to boost the confidence of the team. While the Vikings have yet to win a game in four outings, the 19 points was the lowest point total they've scored.    Central came into the Lady Trojan gym with a 2-1 record, including a win over Oelwein. Kayla Gebel's 11 first-half points and nine by Elli Winter contributed to a 41-11 Trojan lead at intermission.  More details on the pair of wins may be found in the Dec. 6 Tribune.
